Since I have been blogging about the god awful Eagles this year I figured I'd talk about something other than this season. The Eagles honored and inducted Troy Vincent and Brian Dawkins this year into the Eagles hall of fame. Brian Dawkins and Troy Vincent have given us tons of great memories. I am interested to hear about other people's favorite players and memories from the Eagles. I would like to hear either your top three players or memories that you remember. I can think of so many great memories despite the three heart-breaking NFC Championship game losses. I would love to hear your opinions!

The Eagles dreadful season could very well figuratively come to an end Monday night in New Orleans. After much speculation that Andy Reid was going to bench Michael Vick, Reid announced on Wednesday that Vick will remain the starter. If the Eagles lose Monday night, there will sure be more quarterback talk and most likely the talk about the Eagles next coach. The Saints have struggled mightily this year especially their defense. The Eagles are 28th in the league in points averaging just over 17 points a game. The Eagles will need a lot more than 17 points to keep up with Drew Brees and the Saints. Let's hope the Eagles can win Monday night, rally and save their season or we are looking at another 8-8 year if were lucky. What do you think?

On Sunday night, the Eagles will retire the number belonging to the legendary Brian Dawkins. He is the best free safety if Eagles franchise history and a fan favorite of many. The only thing that could ruin this historic night is if the Eagles come out and play the way they did a couple years ago when they retired Reggie White's number. They got blownout by Seattle in a primetime game just like tonight's game is. Michael Vick has to wake up and play to his potential or he will not be the starting quarterback for long. Many fans, including myself, believe that we have to go to Foles if Vick continues to turn the ball over. Michael Vick has turned the ball over (9) more than any other team on the league. The Eagles cannot sit back and watch this unravel any longer, they have too much talent and potential. This could very well be the biggest game of Michael Vick's career.

After a burtal start to the 2012 NFL season, the Philadelphia Eagles followed up their mediocre performance with a big win over won of the best teams in the NFL, the Baltimore Ravens. Despite 4 more turnovers including 2 picks for Michael Vick, there were a lot more positives to take from this game than in week 1. The offense moved up and down the field almost at will against one of the most feared defenses in the league. If it wasn't for the 4 turnovers this one might not even have been close considering 3 of 4 came in the redzone. Another encouraging thing to see was another long game winning drive orchestrated by Michael Vick for the second week in a row. The defense also came up in a big way by shutting down Joe Flacco for almost the entire second half. They came up huge at the end of the game when Baltimore got the ball back with a chance to go down the field and kick a field goal to win the game. If the Eagles can eliminate the turnovers, there's no telling what they are capable of.
